Life in Mommyland

I just need to whine/vent so I can go about my damn day. I have been dealing with the financial aid office over at Oklahoma City University since October (when I enrolled for spring semester) and they STILL don’t have my shit together. But they have no problem charging me freaking LATE fees despite the tardiness being on their damn end!!! I am seriously bowled over at how slow and unorganized this incredibly expensive school is. I feel like OSU/OKC has it waaaaay more together than these guys. So today I had to fill out yet more paperwork for them and AGAIN I was assured that “this really was the last thing” needed to get my financial aid underway. I have been patient, BEYOND patient with them and today I just about lost my damn mind on the phone with them. I broke down and cried (I know it totally showed my weakness and now I will forever be the lady who called and cried *sigh*)

I’ve been having trouble with my anxiety/anti-depressants and basically haven’t been on anything for about three weeks now. I’m feeling it. I just finished one 8 week accounting course that about freaking killed me and I start another one tomorrow (Managerial Acct.) for another 8 weeks, I’m scared out of my mind about it. I’m feeling completely burned out about school and it’s barely halfway through. This worries me a lot, because I am anal and I like to have high grades but here lately, I’ve thought a couple times that a C wouldn’t be too bad or considered dropping a class or two or three.

We leave for a much needed vacation this Friday and I don’t have a damn thing done towards getting everything ready. I don’t know if or when I will actually. All I want to do is sleep when I don’t have to be in class. Pathetic I know.

Thanks for letting me rant, there is so much more but honestly this is enough for now, I need to motivate myself to shower and go to class today.

I've been following Rodeo Princess for some time, seriously I love her blog her writing is pure genius and will make you laugh until you cry. She wrote about notes from the universe. Seemed interesting enough, so I signed up to get my daily notes from the universe too. The emails get sent directly to my Blackberry in the early morning so it's pretty much the first thing I read each day. They are nice notes to get each day, I read it then delete it and go on with my day until today. Today's note is still sitting in my inbox within my beloved crackberry. I've read it no less than 20 times today. *sigh* My note from the universe hit a note in my soul.

holding Kristopher's head while he puked in a trashcan, then cleaning him and the trashcan :(

these are pictures of our newest baby Abigail Sassafrass (Abbie for short). We adopted her 3 weeks ago and she is just precious. She especially loves the boys and is a great napper. She LOVES to cuddle too.



Sorry all the pictures are of her sleeping but it's all she does, she is only 12weeks old and was fixed the day before we brought her home. We love her!!!

I suck I know! I rarely update and it's because I am totally lame no other reasoning. Summer has been fantastic, I'm sad to see it slowly fade and turn to fall almost. But of course our wedding is in like two weeks *egad* and the stress is tarting to pile on. The boys had a great time this summer both went on different trips and got lots of individual time with us as well as together time. It was nice. Of course my highlight so far (besides the wedding) was our trip to DC/NYC! It was fantastic!!! I was in awe the whole time and sad to leave. I'm going to post a crapload of pictures from our trip, I'm just waiting for them to load to my photobucket so I'm adding some fillibuster...I probably should have planned better right?

While waiting for those pics to upload I'll fill you in a bit on what's going on lately. I had some major dental work done the other day and I'm not in great spirits because my freaking mouth hurts. However it was needed and wont ever need to be done again because now I will demonstrate good dental hygiene by going to the dentist like one should. My smile will be in top shape for the wedding though which is nice since we are paying for a blingy photographer and all right? School starts on Monday for me and Thursday for the boys. Why start on a Thursday? I have no idea but it annoys me to no end.

The wedding...oh the wedding!! Things are really getting underway and it's been nice. It would be nicer if the people we loved most would be able to come but what can ya do right? Don't take offense Erica, your circumstances are understandable. It's the other 25 people that we gave a years notice to that I'm bothered by. I'm sad because even my two best girlfriends are kind of blase about the upcoming wedding. It's as if they could give a shit, which makes me feel pretty insignificant. If they were getting married I would be so excited and happy for them and want to be as much a part as I possibly could. Oh wait, one of them did just get married and I wasn't invited to the wedding. Apparently nobody was, but I heard throuh the grapevine that some came anyway. I was heartbroken to not be invited but did my best to understand it was what she wanted (just her, future hubby, their kids and both their parents). She is family to me though and I felt kind of gutted to miss out on something so special. Stacey gently told me that maybe she doesn't feel as much of a friend to me as I do to her. I guess I would be shocked because 20+ years friendship would be painful to not have anymore. I don't know.
