Life in Mommyland

Another year came and went, am I crazy or does it seem like the years are coming faster? What's up with that man? We had a nice night that started with me grilling a couple beer marinated NY strips on my new indoor grill, baked potato and grilled asparagus. Dessert was a sugar dusted croissant filled with sweet cream cheese and strawberries! Delicious, every bit of it! I can't take credit for the dessert though because I bought it premade from the bakery at the store, but everything else I did :)We watched the Insight Bowl (Way to go OSU!!) then decided to get ready to head out for a little bit. Midnight struck, champagne was served (still have a bottle of the good stuff in the fridge ;)) a couple more drinks then home bound after a bit.

Today has been a very low key and relaxing day so far. I've not done much except lounge on the couch and watch tv with my laptop. The black eyed peas are in the crockpot and just about ready to be eaten. I'm looking forward to another year and I hope this coming one is as wonderful if not better than the last.
