Holy cow I'm a slacker! I'm not even going to try and make promises to update more often either LoL! Semester is over, finals are graded and I am kid free along with school free until the end of May! *woot* Thankfully I'll be school free until August. I am looking forward to when the boys get out for Summer break so we can have some fun at White Water and the pool. But I am enjoying a quiet house too (with the exception of the washer and dryer running).

I finished the semester with good grades but not straight A's like I strived for. I struggled a lot this semester actually but in the end I truly think my brain grew a little bit more :) I took two finals yesterday afternoon and finished them with one A and one B (not bad, right?). Ending my Spring semester with two A's two B's!


We went to DisneyWorld in March and had a wonderful time! The trip there was not fun, we dealt with rain the entire way. Saturday night we couldn't find a hotel room anywhere along the way, so we were forced to drive through the entire night and arrived at The Animal Kingdom Lodge at 6:30 a.m. dead tired. We had planned to spend the night somewhere in Florida and finish the drive in to Orlando on Sunday morning, NOT drive all damn night! If you haven't been to the Animal Kingdom Lodge, DO IT! I highly recommend it!! It was the most wonderful experice ever. I've never stayed at such an awesome hotel before. Everything was truly amazing! We were treated very well, the hotel was gorgeous and the grounds were breathtaking. The Savannah view from our room was unbelievable. Every morning we saw so many animals from our balcony. Giraffe, zebra, gazelles, ankole cattle...etc. The sunrise safari we took was incredible too!

We purchased a Disney Photopass cd with all of the pics the photopass people took of us on our trip. I love the photopass! There are people stationed in every park all over in various "picture perfect" locations. You walk up and they give you a card with a code on it, they take your picture(s) and scan your card. By the time you get to your hotel that evening all of your pictures are ready to be viewed in the lobby! You use the same card the whole trip and then when you get home you can go online and edit the pictures and order them if you like. We pre-purchased the CD which wasa pretty good deal and then when we got home, we were able to edit our pictures with fun captions, graphics and whatnot. Then we ordered the cd and it arrived a couple weeks ago!

stressed, pissed, and burned out

I just need to whine/vent so I can go about my damn day. I have been dealing with the financial aid office over at Oklahoma City University since October (when I enrolled for spring semester) and they STILL don’t have my shit together. But they have no problem charging me freaking LATE fees despite the tardiness being on their damn end!!! I am seriously bowled over at how slow and unorganized this incredibly expensive school is. I feel like OSU/OKC has it waaaaay more together than these guys. So today I had to fill out yet more paperwork for them and AGAIN I was assured that “this really was the last thing” needed to get my financial aid underway. I have been patient, BEYOND patient with them and today I just about lost my damn mind on the phone with them. I broke down and cried (I know it totally showed my weakness and now I will forever be the lady who called and cried *sigh*)

I’ve been having trouble with my anxiety/anti-depressants and basically haven’t been on anything for about three weeks now. I’m feeling it. I just finished one 8 week accounting course that about freaking killed me and I start another one tomorrow (Managerial Acct.) for another 8 weeks, I’m scared out of my mind about it. I’m feeling completely burned out about school and it’s barely halfway through. This worries me a lot, because I am anal and I like to have high grades but here lately, I’ve thought a couple times that a C wouldn’t be too bad or considered dropping a class or two or three.

We leave for a much needed vacation this Friday and I don’t have a damn thing done towards getting everything ready. I don’t know if or when I will actually. All I want to do is sleep when I don’t have to be in class. Pathetic I know.

Thanks for letting me rant, there is so much more but honestly this is enough for now, I need to motivate myself to shower and go to class today.

Notes from the Universe

I've been following Rodeo Princess for some time, seriously I love her blog her writing is pure genius and will make you laugh until you cry. She wrote about notes from the universe. Seemed interesting enough, so I signed up to get my daily notes from the universe too. The emails get sent directly to my Blackberry in the early morning so it's pretty much the first thing I read each day. They are nice notes to get each day, I read it then delete it and go on with my day until today. Today's note is still sitting in my inbox within my beloved crackberry. I've read it no less than 20 times today. *sigh* My note from the universe hit a note in my soul.
